ZFA´s contribution to ICAR – World Bank

 

 

National Agricultural Innovation Project, India, a World Bank project

 

In 2006, Zenete Franca, as senior research fellow of the International Food Research Institute, leading learning and capacity building of ISNAR Division in Ethiopia, was member of the World Bank Team to design the component of Learning and Capacity Building for the Project called World Bank National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in the country. In 2007, after Zenete Franca left ISNAR/IFPRI in Ethiopia and moved to Portugal, (ZFA was in the process of being created) Dr. Franca undertook an international assignment and went back to India as part of the World Bank follow-up mission.
